How It Works

The OLC X4 Photocontrol Assembly continuously monitors ambient light levels. When light levels drop below the FAA-required threshold, it automatically switches ON obstruction lights. As daylight increases, the control switches the lights OFF to conserve energy.

Modes of Operation:

🔹 Standard Mode – Gradual ON/OFF switching with 30-second delay to prevent false triggers.
🔹 Test Mode – Shortens switching delay to 5 seconds for quick installation verification.
🔹 Flasher Mode (70566-X2 / 70565-X2) – Provides 30 flashes per minute for red beacon lights.
