Crouse-Hinds series CEAG GHG64 explosion protected enclosures provide IEC Ex d protection in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas. They are used in threaded rigid conduit systems in hazardous areas to function as a splice box, pull box, or equipment and device enclosure.

- Ground joint (bolted) construction throughout permits use in hazardous areas
- Enclosure bodies have thick walls and can be factory drilled and tapped to meet IEC requirements for Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas
- Hinged cover with up to 110° cover opening – designed for easy maintenance
- Ambient temperature range: -20 to +40°C standard (-55°C to +55°C optional)
